By ANIFriday, July 16, 2010
LONDON - A third of all Brit men born in 1953 have been convicted of a criminal offence, revealed Ministry of Justice.
More than a half of those were found guilty of one offence while a fifth have more than five convictions.
Fewer than one in 10 women born in the same year have a criminal conviction, reports the Daily Express.
Overall almost a quarter of all men and about one in 20 women have a criminal record.
But the figures do not give the whole picture, as offenders given cautions or warnings are not counted. (ANI)
