HOOD COUNTY, TEXAS (GaeaTimes.com)- Does the mythical creature chupacabras actually exist in reality? The legendary cryptid whose name literally translates into “goat sucker” is claimed to have inhabited parts of America and there have been a number of instances when their sightings have been claimed but till now there has been no confirmation about their existence. However, the bizarre creature which is said to be a cross between a dog and a wolf, is making headlines once again after two animals which bear striking similarity to chupacabras has been spotted in the Northern region of Texas this week. Although the two creatures have been killed by animal control officers, a sense of panic continues to prevail in Texas after speculations have been ripe that the animals were indeed a pair of chupacabras.

A rancher residing in North Texas stated to a media source that on investigating a growl coming from his barn, he came across a dog-like creature which according to him, was the ugliest animal he had ever seen in his life. Animal Control Officer Frank Hackett who came to the scene and killed the creature later revealed that the animal was definitely anything but normal. DNA testing of the weird-looking animals is being conducted which officials hope would be able to shed light about the unidentified creatures and would be able to dispel the speculation about whether these animals are chupacabras.

However, this is not the first time that chupacabras sightings has been reported in Texas. A number of similar instances have been reported over the years in the state.
