Pak arrests wanted German who planned to bomb country’s embassy in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD - A German national, who is wanted on terror charges in the country, has been arrested by Pakistani authorities.

The Foreign Ministry has confirmed that security agencies were holding a man from Frankfurt identified as Rami M.

Media reports said that Rami is wanted in Germany for having links with a terrorist organisation.

Rami is said to have been planning attack on the German Embassy in Islamabad, The News reports.

However, there has been no official statement regarding the German national’s terror plans.

Pakistani authorities arrested Rami last month while he was trying to get back his travel documents from the German Embassy to leave the country. (ANI)
