All pleaded guilty to being unregistered agents of a foreign government at a federal court in New York, following their arrest 12 days ago at various locations in the eastern United States where they had led middle-class, all-American lives as part of a long-term effort to infiltrate the US establishment and society at large.
Speaking after the hearing, The Telegraph quoted her lawyer, as saying that the 28-year-old, who lived in London and Bournemouth, wanted to return to Britain.
“When she gets home she plans to spend time with her family who are extremely happy to see her out and back home. She wants to spend some time in the UK as well as Russia,” he said. (ANI)
