DANTEWADA - A group of Maoists stormed into the house of Congress leader Avadesh Gautam in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada District on Thursday and brutally killed two of his relatives.

According to sources, after the Maoists attacked Gautam’s house in nearby Nakulnar village, five security personnel there retaliated.

The attack is being seen as a retaliatory strike by the Maoists after one of their top leaders, C Rajakumar alias Azad, was killed in an alleged ‘fake’ encounter in Andhra Pradesh last Friday. (ANI)
