Russian spy’s ex-hubby says it was love at first sight for him

LONDON - The ex-husband of the woman suspected to be a Russian spy has revealed that he fell in love with her the moment he saw her and just knew that he had to be with her.

Alex Chapman, 30, said he was just 21 when he met Anna, then 19, at a London rave party in 2001, and how when two days later she returned to Moscow he quit his job to follow her and ask her to marry him.

“Anna was the most beautiful girl I’d ever seen in my life,” the Sun quoted him as saying of his ex-wife.

“People go on about love at first sight. As soon as I saw Anna I knew I had to be with her.

“It’s just totally weird to think that my ex-wife could be involved in something like this,” he added. (ANI)
