Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Sipah-e-Sahaba working like ‘paid killers’ for Taliban :Malik

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik while admitting that extremist groups like the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) and the Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) were still active in the country despite being banned, has described them as ‘paid killers.’
Speaking during a function here, Malik said that terror groups like the LeJ and the SSP are working like contract killers and are being assisted both financially and strategically by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Al-Qaeda.
He described the attackers who struck Hazrat Data Gunj Bukhsh shrine in Lahore , killing as many as 42 devotees and injuring another 175, as worse than ‘Kafirs’ (infidels), The News reports.
Malik said that the rise in terror attacks in Punjab shows that extremists are frustrated after being rooted out by the military from Swat, Malakand and other parts of the country. (ANI)
