UK Energy Secretary’s wife’s ’shock’ at his affair with bisexual woman

LONDON - The betrayed wife of British Energy Secretary Chris Huhne has filed a divorce petition on the grounds of his ‘admitted adultery’ and revealed her ‘tremendous shock’ on discovering his affair with a bisexual woman.

According to The Sun, the former senior civil servant Vicky Pryce, the mother of his three children, said that she was humiliated after he announced that he was leaving her for aide Carina Trimingham.

Huhne had been enjoying secret trysts with his 44-year-old mistress Carina, at the family’s constituency home in Hampshire for more than a year. He spent the night together there on Friday.

“The events of the past week have come as a tremendous shock to both Mrs Pryce and her family,” The Sun quoted London-based lawyers Osbornes, as saying.

Earlier, the 55-year-old MP from Eastleigh, used photos from his family album in his Lib Dem election material and boasted of his strong marriage. (ANI)
