Nine CRPF personnel injured in Chhattisgarh landmine blast

BIJAPUR - At least nine personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured in a landmine blast suspected to be trigged by the Maoists in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur District on Wednesday.

Security forces identified pressure mines in the forests of Bijapur while carrying out regular combing operations.

Reportedly, a pressure mine went off, while personnel were trying to defuse it.

There is no information about the nature and level of injuries suffered by the CRPF personnel.
