NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- The third annual Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic match that was played at the Governor’s Island witnessed Prince Harry galloping his horse all over the ground. Reportedly, the polo match was played to benefit Prince Harry’s charity; “American Friends of Sentebale” which works for the children of Lesotho in Africa.

Prince Harry was all in praises for the American nation and said that he prays that the entire world thinks on the same line. While he delivered a short speech ahead of the polo match, Prince Harry appreciated the initiative of America to uplift the conditions of the poor and the downtrodden children. He said that he like his charity considers the act to be the noblest of all and words would fall short to thank America for the fine job that they are doing.

Among Prince Harry’s audiences were VIP attendees Golden Globe winner actress Julianna Margulies and singer Mary J. Blige who occupied the front seats. Juliana Marguiles said that she had never been to a polo match and hence didn’t want to miss out this opportunity. Moreover, when you have Prince Harry on horseback its always a pleasure to be present at the event. Speaking on the same note was Mary J. Blige who said that it was a great experience to witness Prince Harry from the front seats and that she enjoyed the polo match right from the beginning to the end.

Earlier on Sunday Prince Harry attended the charity reception of Greenwich and the Possibility Race at the Central Park. Prince Harry also threw first pitch in a New York Mets game that was played on Saturday.The Royal Polo Team led by Prince Harry lost to the Brigades by 6-5.
