Queen ’squanders away #1.2m of public money on parties’

London, June 23 (ANI): The Queen’s mansion spent as many as 1.2 million pounds of the public money on catering and hospitality last year, a report has revealed.
Out of this money, 700,000 pounds were spent on garden parties and 500,000 pounds on food and kitchens, reports the Daily Star.
The Queen is believed to entertain around 50,000 people each year.
A report from the Royal Trustees also revealed that she spent 100,000 pounds of taxpayers’ money on travel and 10.3 million pounds on paying staff. (ANI)
