Crown Princess Victoria’s Wedding Grandeur

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN (GaeaTimes.com)- Sweden’s Crown Princess Of Victoria’s marriage on June 19 this year is the biggest and most important event for the Royal Palace. The wedding is set to be one of the biggest public celebration events in the Swedish capital. The future queen of Sweden will marry her former personal trainer Daniel Westling. The marriage at the Stockholm Cathedral will be followed by a magnificent procession for the common people to catch a glimpse of the royal couple.
According to the Nina Eldh, the marriage between Crown Princess Victoria, 32 and Daniel Westling, 36, will be the most important event organized by the Royal Palace. The majestic procession after the marriage will be one of longest routes undertaken by the royal cortge. The horse-drawn carriage will reportedly ride 4.3 miles through the city centre to allow the fans to see the newly weds. 40,000 roses, carnations, lilies and hydrangeas and thousands of Swedish National flags have been used to decorate the streets during the wedding. After the procession the couple will navigate through the waters of the picturesque Stockholm waters on the Royal Barge of Vasaorden. This was the same barge used 34 years ago on during the marriage of Queen Silvia and King Carl XVI Gustaf.
The security arrangements for Crown Princess Victoria’s wedding has been very tight. More than 8000 security personnel that includes the military and the police will be employed to ensure safety of the fans and the royalty. The Swedish Police have reportedly set up 8 centres throughout the city to unite people who get lost and separated from their loved ones.
