Scott Graham Dies Of Gunshot Wound

WALL TOWNSHIP (GaeaTimes.com)- On Wednesday the New Jersey State police found the body of Scott Graham a state trooper dead in his cruiser at around 7:30 a.m. on a Garden State Parkway exit ramp. The State police confirmed the death of Scott Graham and stated that he died of a single gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the spot of the incident. The initial investigation suggested the state trooper had shot himself to death in his patrol car. According to State Police Sergeant Stephen Jones the circumstances surrounding the death of the trooper is being investigated by the police but added that no suspect or vehicles is being searched by the police in this regard.
Scott Graham was one of the high performers of the state troop. He graduated from the state police Academy in 2001. David Jones the Troopers union head said on Wednesday the Scott Graham’s high performance set him distinct from other troopers during his tenure in the trooper coach program. David Jones added that Scott Graham’s performance was so impressive that he was assigned to set the protocol for other troopers at the State police training academy. However, David Jones also maintained that the job though is considered as one of the prestigious jobs demands “serious obligation and not necessarily a ton of fun”.
The death of Scott Graham comes just after a week of the violent death of Trooper Marc Castellano who died on June 6. The State Police Superintendent Rick Fuentes said that the tragic death of Scott Graham has deepened the wound already created by the death of Marc Castellano. The State Police Fraternity also extended its support to the family of Scott Graham that has suffered the tragic loss. Scott Graham is survived by his wife and three children.
