LONDON - Racism is still a very common practice at work in some parts of the world, says a recent study.

Ethnic minorities living and working in Britain consider professions including banking, politics, law and journalism as closed off to them.

The report named Aspiration and Frustration conducted the study on the attitudes of 1,500 people from every main ethnic group living in the UK, including white Britons, reports The Scotsman.

“Some professions, especially those that offer the best pay, are still not perceived by a large minority of the country’s Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic population as genuine career options,” Sandra Kerr, national director of Race for Opportunity said.

Race for Opportunity carried out the survey for the Business in the Community group. (ANI)
