Indian child who travelled on Samjhauta Express to Pak by mistake handed back

ISLAMABAD - An Indian child, who had crossed over to Pakistan on the Samjhota Express by mistake, has been handed over to Indian officials at the Wagah border.

The child identified as Rajat Kumar belongs to Sajan Pur Bareli and begs to earn his livelihood, The Daily Times reports.

He only has a brother Raj Kumar, who works as a motor mechanic.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Rangers’ officials criticised their Indian counterparts for failing to prevent the child from crossing over the border so easily. (ANI)
