Eight Maoists killed in West Bengal encounter

WEST MIDNAPORE - The security forces on Wednesday shot down eight Maoists in a fierce encounter in West Bengal’s West Midnapore District.

It has been reported that the security forces recovered eight dead bodies including three women ultras from the dense forest area and arrested one person in injured condition from the spot.

Meanwhile, the combing operation is still on at Ranja forest under Salboni police station here to nab the ultras.

Huge quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives has been recovered. (ANI)
