Eight killed in Thane wall collapse

THANE - Eight persons were killed and four injured when a wall collapsed due to heavy rain in Maharashtra’s Thane District this morning.

According to sources, the incident took place when the boundary wall of Birla company fell on the slums at Dnyaneshwar Nagar at 5.am.

Relief operations were underway.

The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. (ANI)
