SYDNEY - A barmaid has been slapped with a fine of 300 dollars after two police officers sitting at a bar in Perth found her to be showing too much buttock.

After being observed by the undercover officers at the Market City Tavern in Canning Vale, in Perth’s south, in November 2008, Megan Brookes was charged with indecent exposure.

The 30-year-old was supposed to fight the charge during a trial that was set to start at the Fremantle Magistrates Court on Monday but on Friday she pleaded guilty.

She was wearing black-lace French knickers with her buttocks exposed, when the cops noticed her.

Her employer, Raunchy Promotions owner Steve Zielinski, said the barmaid’s fine was “ridiculous,” reports The Sydney Morning Herald.e told Radio 6PR in Perth that police should be doing their duty instead of sitting at bars watching scantily dressed barmaids.

“It’s an individual opinion as to what they constitute as immodest,” he said.

The barmaid had decided to plead guilty because of the high legal costs of fighting the charge, said Zielinski. (ANI)
