Utah judge to sort out Gary Coleman’s estate
SALT LAKE CITY — A Utah judge is scheduled to hear from the attorneys for three people who are fighting to be the special administrators of the estate of late actor Gary Coleman.
A hearing on Coleman’s estate was scheduled for Monday in Provo, about 45 miles south of Salt Lake City.
Coleman’s ex-wife, a former manager and a former girlfriend all contend they should be responsible for administering Coleman’s estate and deciding what happens to his remains. Officials have not said how much the estate is worth.
The star of the 1970s and 80s sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes” died May 28 after suffering a brain hemorrhage.
Coleman lived in Santaquin, about 65 miles south of Salt Lake City, with his ex-wife Shannon Price at the time of his death.
