Realignment rundown: What’s happened and what will happen in the chaotic conference shuffle

More changes to come in conference realignment
Three schools switched conferences in a flurry of activity last week that shook up college athletics.
The biggest changes could come this week.
Five more schools could be on the verge of bolting the Big 12, a blow that would cripple the rapidly disintegrating league and set in motion another round of conference switching.
It could start as soon as Tuesday. That’s when the Texas regents meet to discuss the Longhorns’ athletic future, with an offer to join the Pac-10 on the table.
Pac-10 commissioner Larry Scott spent the weekend traveling across Texas and Oklahoma, hoping to entice five Big 12 South schools — all but Baylor — to head west to become part of a 16-team mega-conference.
If Texas goes, the rest will likely follow.
