Arab league chief accuses Israel of atrocies
ISTANBUL — The Arab league chief says all should be aware of Israel’s continuing “atrocity and assault” in violation of human rights and international law.
Amr Moussa says “Israel is the main reason for the black hole in the region.”
He said Thursday that he appreciated Turkey’s challenging Israel, and expressed condolences for the killing of nine people during an Israeli raid on a Turkish aid ship destined for Gaza last week. Israel says its commandos acted in self-defense after being attacked by the pro-Palestinian activists.
Moussa says “they are our martyrs as well.” He was speaking at an economic forum between Turkey and Arab nations.
