London, June 09 (ANI): Britons are too scared to step out and try something new and adventurous, a recent survey claims.
The research showed that at least 40 per cent of Britons have never stood on a mountain or swum in open water and half have never gone for a horse ride, reports the Daily Express.
Almost a third of the 3,000 adults confessed that they have been “too scared” to try something new and prefer watching TV at home instead and a similar number of people questioned for leisure equipment firm Go Outdoors said they had not breathed country air in more than a year.
And researches also found that 27 per cent had lied about being a part of outdoor actions on their CV and 32 per cent had tales to tell to show off on a date. (ANI)
