War on terror will be fought with Pak Punjab Govt’s help: Malik

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Tuesday revealed that the war on terror would be fought in collaboration with the Punjab provincial government.
The Dawn quoted Malik as telling reporters outside Parliament House that the entire nation was united in eliminating terrorism.
He said there was no conflict with the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Government in Punjab and added that the federal Pakistan People’s Party Government is fully cooperating in eradicating terrorism.
He also rejected suggestions of an army operation being launched in south Punjab. (ANI)
