Sinclair names Dave Schwartz as VP of sales, Rob Weisbord VP of new media

Sinclair promotes 2 executives

BALTIMORE — Television station operator Sinclair Broadcast Group said Monday it has promoted Dave Schwartz to vice president of sales and Rob Weisbord to vice president of new media.

Schwartz most recently served as director of sales for Sinclair. Weisbord had served as director of digital interactive marketing.

The company did not say if these were new positions or if the executives were replacing anyone. A call to the company was not immediately returned.

Shares of Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. fell 12 cents, or 2 percent, to $5.88 in midday trading.
