Six killed in Ambala road mishap

AMBALA - At least six persons were killed and over six others seriously injured when a mini bus in which they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck near Haryana’s Ambala valley early on Wednesday morning.

Police said three couples and their family members were on the way to Dharmshala from Delhi, when the accident took place.

The two couples are reported to be residents of Delhi’s Shalimar Bagh and Meenakshi Garden localities.

The deceased were identified as Hunny, Kusum, Gulshan, Paras, Karan. The identity of the driver, who was also killed in the accident, is still unknown.

The condition of three of the injured Priyanka, Ridam and Kamal, who have admitted to a civil hospital at Ambala City is said to be in a serious condition. (ANI)
