Railways send coffins for accident victims

KOLKATA - The railways have despatched coffins to the Jhargram accident site and earmarked one coach each in some local trains of the South Eastern Railway for the kin of the Gyaneshwari Express victims, an official statement said Saturday.

“Coffins are being sent to Kharagpur to bring back the bodies by train. A total of 15 coffins were despatched Saturday by the East Coast Express. Another 40 coffins are being arranged to be sent,” a South Eastern Railway release said here.
