LONDON - Two boys, aged 10 and 11, have become Britain’s youngest sex offenders after being found guilty of assaulting an eight-year-old girl.

The boys were cleared of rape, but were found guilty at the Old Bailey of attempted rape, reports the Sun.

The jury had heard how they led the girl to a string of locations before assaulting her.

Both boys remained subdued as judge Mr Justice Saunders adjourned sentence for eight weeks for reports and freed each on conditional bail.

The shocking two-week trial raised serious questions about court treatment of very young victims and offenders. (ANI)
