Patnitop (J-K), May 18 (ANI): Tourists are flocking to Patnitop, a beautiful hill station near Jammu, to beat the soaring temperature in the plains.

Patnitop is situated at a distance of 110 kilometers from Jammu and at a height of 2024 metre.

“I have come to Patnitop for the first time. The environment here is very nice. In Gujarat the weather is too hot. Temperature sometimes rises up to 50 degrees…But here the weather is cool,” said Mita Vyas, a tourist from Gujarat.

Among the main attractions of Patnitop are picnic spots, serene walks and magnificent views of the mountains in the backdrop of the Chenab River basin.

“People should once come over here and enjoy the beauty of nature,” said Vidyat Panda, a tourist from Bihar.

Patnitop is one of the best-developed tourist spots in the State.

The natural beauty, dense pine forests and flourishing green landscape of this hill resort makes it a popular tourist destination. (ANI)
