APNewsBreak: Victim video tributes at 9/11 museum
NEW YORK — The Sept. 11 memorial museum is opening in two years. But planners of the museum are reaching out to family members for photographs and other mementoes for its gallery that remembers the nearly 3,000 victims.
Designs of the museum shown to The Associated Press include one to two-minute video tributes for each victim of the 2001 terror attack and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
The videos will include pictures, taped remembrances and short vignettes that also say where each victim was the morning of Sept. 11.
The museum has thousands of photographs matching more than 400 victims. Planners are looking for more than 2,500 others to form a gallery of photos.
