SAMBA - Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on Tuesday recovered a huge cache of arms and explosives at a forward defense location (FDL) in Samba district.
Acting on a tip-off, troopers of 59 Battalion of BSF recovered two rucksacks from the area which held one improvised explosive device-filled pressure cooker bomb, 28 high explosive grenades, 2.5 kilograms of black RDX, two kilograms of white RDX, night vision devices, as well as Pakistani-made sweets and other eatables.

The militants, however, managed to escape to the other side of the border.

On Saturday, the BSF troops had foiled a major infiltration bid after a fierce gunbattle with militants at the Ballard forward post in Ramgarh sub-sector of Samba district. (ANI)
