GLASGOW - An armed gang stole thousands of pounds from a Sikh temple in Glasgow after posing as worshippers.

According to The Scotsman, an Asian man entered the common prayer room 30 minutes before the robbery and watched members of the temple on St Andrew’s Drive counting up the proceedings from a fundraising walk .

He then used a mobile phone to contact two other members of the gang who entered the temple brandishing firearms and demanded the money.

The undercover worshipper then slipped his shoes back on and left the temple with the other members of the gang.

The incident happened on Sunday morning, as members of the temple were preparing for the day’s services. (ANI)
