Roadside bomb kills four, wounds 14 in Kandahar

KABUL - A roadside bomb struck a vehicle of a de-mining agency in Daman district of Kandahar province, south of Afghanistan on Sunday, killing four persons and wounding 14.

“Four dead bodies and 14 injured men have been taken to Mir Wais hospital in Kandahar city, the capital of Kandahar province,” the Xinhua news agency quoted Dr.Mohammad Irbahim, as saying.

He added that all the victims are Afghans.

The Governor of Daman District Sarajudin Khan, has confirmed the incident, adding that it was a remote- controlled bomb that went off 6:30 a.m. local time.

He indirectly accused the Taliban for the incident. (ANI)
