KOLKATA -Naxals on Sunday threatened to carry out more Dantewada type attacks on security forces if the Union Government continued its offensive against them.

In a fax message sent to some of media houses, Maoists also expressed sympathy for the families of the 76 jawans killed in the attack.

In the letter Maoists also claimed that they are ready to compensate slain jawans family memebers.

The letter also asked security personnel not take part in anti Naxal operations.

In the letter, Maoists have asked villagers and tribals residing in their area of operation to support their fight. However, they have been warned villagers against acting as informers to security forces. (ANI)
