Latest reason for a strike - workers allowed beer only during lunch!

LONDON - Danish brewing giant Carlsberg is facing stiff opposition from its warehouse staff over a new policy measure that allows employees to have beer only during the lunch hour.
Workers say they are entitled to three beers a day apart from the drinks at lunch.
“We think times have changed and we need an alcohol policy that is accepted by society - 93 percent of Danish companies have an alcohol policy,” Sky News quoted Carlsberg spokesman Jens Bekke, as saying.
He added: “There has been free beer, water and soft drinks everywhere. (On Wednesday), beers were removed from all refrigerators. The only place you can get a beer in future is in the canteen, at lunch.”
According to Bekke, the right claimed by Carlsberg drivers to have up to three beers a day and drinks at lunch was “very old”.
Nearly 800 workers walked out on Wednesday, with 250 continuing with the strike on Thursday. (ANI)
