Correction: LA District Attorney story
LOS ANGELES — In a story April 4 about Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley, The Associated Press reported erroneously that he was opposed to Jessica’s Law. His office’s spokeswoman, Sandi Gibbons, said while Cooley was concerned about some of the law’s provisions, he didn’t take a position on the issue.
