Pak High Commisioner to India Shahd Malik gets year’s extension in service

ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan government has granted a year’s extension in service to its High Commissioner to India, Shahid Malik, The Dawn reports.

This is the second extension for Malik, who was posted to New Delhi in 2006. He got an extension last year.

Malik, a career diplomat from the 1972 batch, has also served in India as deputy high commissioner from 1992 to 1995.

He is currently on contract after his retirement from Foreign Service. (ANI)
