Correction: Dying Hospitals story
NEW YORK — In a story March 25 about the troubles faced by St. Vincent’s Hospital and other charity hospitals, The Associated Press reported erroneously that the Daughters of Charity Health System in Los Altos, Calif., had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
The Downey Regional Medical Center in Downey, Calif., not Daughters of Charity, filed for bankruptcy protection.
