Market’s slow, steady climb stalls on Greece doubt
END OF THE LINE, FOR NOW: The market stopped its steady climb as investors again started doubting Greece’s ability to pay its debts. The concern in the market is that the country’s problems will spill over to others and hurt the global recovery.
THE INDEXES THIS WEEK: The market’s advance earlier in the week enabled the big indicators including the Dow Jones industrials to post modest gains.
WHAT’S NEXT: Investors will get a series of economic reports next week, including two readings on home sales during February.
