MORADABAD - A woman musician from Moradabad plays unique sounds on her guitar.

Anu Sharma, who has been practising different instruments since her childhood, is inspired by her father Pandit Purshottam Sharma.

Besides playing film music, she produces different environmental sounds of birds, animals, trains and church bells etc on her guitar.

“Apart from the film music I have also experimented on the environmental sounds like sounds of birds, horse, natural sounds, animal, trains, church etc and to produce these sounds manually is an innovative thing because the instrument is acoustic not digital,” said artist Anu Sharma.

She started with the Hawaiian guitar and is now practising the Spanish guitar, Violin, keyboard, Tabla, Flute, Mouth organ etc.

Her ambition is to make it to the “Guinness book of world ecords”

“She always experiments different sounds. I have never expected that she will reach to such high level. I wish her to go further from national level to international level,” said Suchi Sharma, Anu’s sister.

Anu Sharma has won a number of awards for her as well. (ANI)
