Frontier Airlines extends seasonal KC-Cancun trips
DENVER — Frontier Airlines said Thursday it would extend seasonal nonstop flights between Kansas City and the city of Cancun in Mexico through Aug. 28.
Frontier said it would operate two weekly flights on Saturdays and Sundays from April 19 to May 2, then drop back to a single weekly flight on Saturdays through late August.
The airline hopes the service will appeal to people in Milwaukee, who could connect at Kansas City International Airport for flights in both directions.
After Aug. 28, Frontier will end nonstop service on the route until Oct. 16.
Frontier is a subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings Inc.
