Chrysler names executive to lead reintroduction of Fiat brand to North America

Chrysler names North American Fiat head
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Chrysler Group LLC said Wednesday that it has named a new executive to head the reintroduction of the Fiat brand to the North American market.
Laura Soave will oversee the Fiat product portfolio, beginning with the Fiat 500 compact car. Fiat brands have not been sold in North America for more than 25 years.
Soave arrives at Chrysler from Volkswagen of America, where she headed up marketing initiatives. She will report directly to Chrysler Group CEO Sergio Marchionne.
