MANALI - Tourists in Manali are an elated lot due to the untimely snowfall they experienced on Thursday.

Places like Maddi, Gulaba, Solang Nala and Kothi had snowfall.

The heavy snowfall in the higher reaches and rain in the lower areas intensified cold conditions.

“We didn’t expect to witness snowfall in the month of March. It is unbelievable that it is taking place in the month of March. We will remember it for the lifetime that we experienced snowfall in March on our honeymoon. It is quiet interesting,” exclaimed Preeti, a tourist.

The local observatory of the metrological department noted that after the fresh snow and rain there was a fall in the minimum temperature by two to three degrees. (ANI)
