Correction: Range Fuels-Georgia story
BROOMFIELD, Colo. — In a story March 4 about Range Fuels, The Associated Press reported erroneously that the company received a federal loan. The loan for a biofuels plant in southeast Georgia was federally backed, not a direct federal loan. A federally backed loan is guaranteed by the federal government, but a private lender makes the loan.
