Air Products raises prices for additives

LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. — Air Products & Chemicals said Monday that it will increase prices for polyurethane amine and metal catalysts, and silicone and organic surfactants marketed under the Dabco and Polycat trade names.

The industrial and medical gas supplier said prices will rise by 6 percent globally.

The company said the polyurethane addivitves are used in appliances, vehicles, household good and construction.

Air Products shares rose 58 cents to $69.16 in trading Monday.
