Pune Police reassures safety for students

PUNE - Pune Police is reaching out to over four lakh students in the city, in an attempt to increase awareness on terror following recent blast.

Satyapal Singh, Pune Police Commissioner said: “We want them to be alert all the time and inform us if they find anyone suspicious.”

Just in last three days, top cops have met with over 45,000 students from 70 colleges across the city.

After colleges, the police will turn its attention to the IT sector.

The blast which killed twelve and wounded 57 people is seen as the first major attack on India since the November 26,2008 Mumbai terrors attack.

The bakery is located in Koregaon Park, which is close to the Osho Ashram and the Chabad House, a Jewish prayer house, which numerous foreigners and tourists frequent. (ANI)
