Stand off in Lucknow continues after mentally disturbed boy opens fire, burns house

LUCKNOW - A young mentally disturbed boy, who had reportedly opened fire from his father’s licensed revolver in Bakshi Ka Talaab area here on Thursday, has now set the house on fire and opened fire at a police party that tried to persuade him.

Two policemen have been reportedly injured in the firing.

According to reports, the boy who is under acute distress locked himself in a room and began to fire.

The boy’s family members called the police, when they failed to control him.

The police party is taking all steps possible to bring the situation under its control. (ANI)
