Romney book tour looks like campaign schedule
BOSTON — Mitt Romney’s upcoming book tour looks a lot like a presidential campaign schedule.
The 2008 Republican presidential contender will be visiting 19 states, including Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida, Pennsylvania and Nevada.
He will also stop in the District of Columbia and Toronto, where potential 2012 GOP rival Sarah Palin recently had her own book signings.
Romney’s tour kicks off March 3. He’s planned a media blitz for a day earlier, the official release date for “No Apology: The Case for American Greatness.”
The former Massachusetts governor has been laying the groundwork for a second White House run. But aides say for now he is focused on helping Republicans win in this fall’s midterm elections.
