Jharkhand students demand centralized examination centres

DHANBAD - Police baton charged agitated polytechnic students in Dhanbad on Wednesday protesting against the shifting of examination centre out of their college.

To protest against the proposed centralised common examination centres they took to the streets and started vandalizing public property and vehicles.

The students demanded restoration of home centres for the examinations.

Police tried in vain to control the frenzied students as they raised slogans. police caned the students and detained eleven students. (ANI)
