Coca-Cola to be served on Alaska Air flights
SEATTLE — Coca-Cola products will again be served onboard flights operated by Alaska Air Group Inc. subsidiaries Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air starting March 1.
The airlines’ parent company, based in Seattle, said Tuesday it was responding to customer input in deciding to bring back Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Coca-Cola Zero, Sprite and Diet Sprite Zero.
Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air served Coca-Cola products on flights from 1998 until April 2008, when they started offering Jones Premium Sodas instead.
The two carriers together serve more than 90 cities through an expansive network in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The Coca-Cola Co., based in Atlanta, is the world’s largest beverage maker.
