San Antonio woman jailed after sons, ages 1 and 3, found fatally stabbed in their home

San Antonio mom held in killing of sons ages 1, 3

SAN ANTONIO — Police say a San Antonio woman whose two young sons were found dead in their home told officers “I just killed my babies.”

Police Chief William McManus says the brothers, ages 1 and 3, had been stabbed.

McManus says their 22-year-old mother was calm as she greeted officers who were responding to a 911 call from the house on Tuesday. He says she extended her arms to be handcuffed.

Bexar County Detention Center electronic records show that a woman whose address was on the same block as the home where the boys were found slain was in custody Wednesday facing two counts of capital murder of a child.

McManus says the boys were found next to each other, dressed and on a bed. He says they “looked like they were sleeping.”
